Armed Guard Services: Do you need them?
![]() |
Shoot/Don’t Shoot Decisions Hopefully, this is a decision that never has to be made on your premises. The arm chair quarterbacking, the press and then the lawsuits that follow are usually devastating for all involved. One question that is often neglected is whether your site actually needs armed guards with lethal weapons. |
Most companies make this decision without a complete and thorough analysis. Rarely is an indepth evaluation completed to determine the level of protection required. The force continuum should be carefully evaluated beginning with unarmed guards and continuing with every level up to and including armed guards. In many cases the decision to use non lethal force is a much more prudent decision but is not given adequate consideration.
Once your site and needs have been carefully evaluated and the decision that armed guards are required has been made, the process is only beginning. The licensing and education of the security professionals is an obvious point of consideration. The type of weapon, ammunition, caliber and environment are just a few of the parameters that must be considered. Don’t make a quick decision without a complete analysis of your specific needs.
If you are considering or evaluating your armed security force you must read our
FREE REPORT on this subject. Don’t make a hasty decision without considering all the facts. After reading the free, no-obligation report you may be surprised at what you
have learned.
Reading the report will provide you with valuable tools to make an informed decision regarding the level of protection services needed. If you are still unsure after reading the report one of our Client Relationship Managers can assist you in finalizing your decision.
Don’t let a Shoot/Don’t Shoot decision be made without the proper due diligence.
