VULTUS
Vultus is an advanced and rugged durable data collection tool. Commonly referred to as a wand by its users, it works in conjunction with a set of sensors called iButtons utilizing touch memory technology.

The basic idea behind the Vultus system is to strategically place iButtons at different checkpoints where the guard must pass. The guard, carrying the Vultus, initiates a contact with the wand and the iButton registering the name (typically the location) and a date and time stamp. This information can be uploaded to a PC using proprietary software to generate detailed yet easy to understand reports. |

How
does Vultus work?
- A tour route schedule and
checkpoint list is gathered.
- iButtons are strategically
placed in each of the subsequent checkpoints.
- Vultus issues an audible and/or visible alert notifying guards to begin their tour.
- Upon conclusion of the tour
Vultus issues an audible and/or visible alert
notifying them they have successfully completed
their tour.
- Notifies the attending
supervisor if tours have been completed successfully
or not.

Vultus can
upload collected data to a computer providing a
detailed analysis of all tour reports submitted.
Generated reports:
- Date and time stamp of each
successfully visited checkpoint.
- Sequence of visited checkpoints
- Tour occurrences (recorded via
the Events Wallet)
- Tour verification and approval
by supervisor
- Complete follow-up of guard
